St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery
Burt County,
Nebraska

St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery is abandoned, and located about 1/2 mile north of the intersection of 5 & F roads, NW of Uehling. Records indicate 20 to 28 burials, only stones for six remain. Circa 1879 Simon Karl donated 40 acres of land on which to build a church, with the terms that at least three houses, a school and a church must be built. The called for "buildings" were constructed in 1886 in the style of a "three-house-church", which was actually one structure. A long structure, one end was designated the church, the middle the school and the far end a parsonage. No buildings remain and the cemetery is not maintained. GPS 41.77229 96.52133
