J. Miles Robinson (Sep. 9, 1891 - Feb. 1, 1948). Born in rural Pebble township near Scribner, NE. World War 1 veteran. He was employed as a bank clerk and at one time (early 1920s) was the postmaster at North Bend, NE. He spent a lifetime acquiring information on thoroughbred animals and he was considered an expert in this field. Miles, as he was known by family and friends, was a lifelong bachelor.
