Overview & History **ARGO CONGREGATIONAL

Argo Cemetery
Burt County,
Nebraska

Argo Nebraska was a small community about 3 miles SE of the current town of Uehling. Argo & the cemetery was established circa 1890 and folded about 1899. The only thing there now is the cemetery. For the short time it was in existance, it was a busy little place with a post office, blacksmith and two dancehalls, one of which was upstairs over the general store.
